Water and Sanitation

From the very beginning i.e. 2001, PMUS has been implementing Water and Sanitation program with the help of NGO Forum and still supports are continuing. Apart from DPHE and NGO Forum have been supporting this program from 2005. Already 47 tube wells and 10500 water sealed latrines have been installed. Also encouraged to install pit latrines and they have installed 15,000 pit latrines. Developed one latrine production centre, from where slab latrines are produced and supplied to the community people with cost price. It has also installed 150 deep tube wells and 2500 slab latrines in Gopalgonj and Faridpur District with the support of the donor of Turkey Government.
