Non-formal Education (NFE)

PMUS’s first priority is basic education, literacy, numeric education, life skills training and education, adult education, etc. through education centres, schools, etc. to all group members, adolescents, girls, youths and the children and started in PMUS has been provided literacy education to 3500 group members and 1350 children with the support of BRAC, Department of Social Services, Department of Youth Affairs, Department of Women Affairs, Department of Labour and Child Affairs, GoB etc. and ILO. Now it has been running 10 schools. It has been running 200 education centres for 5000 out of school children and providing basic education with the support of the Bureau of Non-Format Education (BNFE), Government of Bangladesh, which are continuing in Faridpur and Gopalgong Districts.
